The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Insurance Services has undergone a transformation designed to bring members a variety of expanded coverage options.
In addition to traditional light aircraft and non-owned aircraft coverage, AOPA Insurance Services has the ability to assist with any type of general aviation insurance need from flying clubs to flight schools to airports, as well as group life and AD&D insurance plans, officials said.
These changes have been driven by a core team of leaders within AOPA, led by Janet Bressler, president of the insurance group. “I’m proud to say that the evolutions and changes we’ve put in place, and will continue to improve upon, are based upon member feedback which we have carefully cultivated and refined over the past several months” said Bressler.
A key part of the expanded coverage options available from AOPA Insurance Services is the addition of several globally ranked A-rated aviation insurance carriers to the company’s network of insurance providers, she noted.
The launch of the newly improved AOPA Insurance Services is now underway, and includes a new website.
