Quest Aircraft Co. has received certification of its new Summit Executive interior. The five-place interior features club seating, two fold-out tables and two storage cabinets.
Flight Design’s John Gilmore sent along these first views of the C4 proof of concept aircraft. He reports the first flight team is getting the systems, controls and instrumentation in place for the maiden flight. Additional work is being done on the other POC aircraft for occupant protective dynamic testing and for any additional static testing required.
OSHKOSH — Blackhawk Modifications of Waco, Texas, is adding a new engine upgrade option for Cessna 208A Caravan and 208B Grand Caravan aircraft.
Blackhawk is certifying the 867 horsepower PT6A-140 engine as a direct aftermarket replacement for the standard PT6A-114 (600 horsepower) or the PT6A-114A (675 horsepower) in those aircraft.
OSHKOSH – Beechcraft Corporation is celebrating two important King Air milestones this week at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh – the 50th year of King Air production, as well as the first anniversary of a record-breaking order from Wheels Up, the membership-based private aviation company. The order from Wheels Up represents the largest order in history for general aviation turboprop aircraft, encompassing up to 105 King Air 350i aircraft and including maintenance, service and support.
OSHKOSH — Cessna confirmed on opening day of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh its launch of the Turbo Skyhawk JT-A, which joins the Turbo Skylane JT-A as the latest diesel powered platform in the company’s single-engine product line up. The company is displaying the Turbo Skyhawk JT-A this week at AirVenture.
