A celebration of the life of legendary American hero Steve “Spiro” Pisanos, who recently passed away at the age of 96, will be held June 30 at 2 p.m. at the San Diego Air & Space Museum.
Pisanos was a World War II fighter double ace who served with the United States Army Air Corps, United States Air Force and as a volunteer member of the famed Eagle Squadrons of Great Britain’s Royal Air Force. [Read more…]
