BIG LAKE, ALASKA — Adding to its growing list of FAA PMA approved parts available in support of the world’s Caravan fleets, Airforms, Inc. has received FAA PMA approval for part number AF2612035-1, the Caravan Tail Tie-Down Handle.
The part is a direct replacement for Cessna P/N 2612035-1, and is eligible for installation on all Cessna model 208 and 208B aircraft. It is a precision fit, drop-in replacement for the OEM component, Airforms officials noted.
Aircraft interface is unchanged, as is interface with your existing tail stand. The part comes primed and ready for installation.
Airforms’ Chief Engineer Kyle Taylor explains, “We have been working with the fleet operators to identify opportunities for potential cost savings, while providing quality components that will stand the test of daily operations in some of the world’s harshest environments. We will continue to pinpoint these needs, and to offer solutions that provide both short-term and long-term savings for our customers.”
