Ram Air Recovery System approved

americanaviapressphoto The FAA has approved the installation of the new Ram Air Recovery system from American Aviation on a stand-alone basis.

Before, the system also required installation of the company’s Pitot Cowling System, which required additional installation time and painting.

The new system offers an additional 50 to 75 foot-pounds of torque depending on the aircraft model, the altitude, and the atmospheric conditions, according to company officials.

American Aviation completes third King Air flight deck retrofit

American Aviation of Brooksville, Florida, has completed its third Alliant Integrated Flight Deck retrofit in a Beechcraft King Air 200.

“Updating the timeless King Air with the Alliant system takes one of the best airplanes ever made and makes it better,” said John Petrick, president of American Aviation.
