The National Air Transportation Foundation (NATF) now offers the Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship, the newest addition to the foundation’s scholarship program. This scholarship is offered to a college or university student continuing his or her education in the aviation industry.
PORT LAVACA, Texas — The 2012 Air Race Classic Champions, Dianna Stanger and Victoria Holt, also known as The Racing Aces, have bestowed a $5,000 flight training scholarship on Whitney Brouwer made up of their winning purse and sponsorship money from the race.
Angel MedFlight’s Scholarship for Excellence in Aviation is now open to students pursuing a degree in an aviation program at an Arizona college or university. Applications are being accepted through June 4.
Three recipients have been selected by the Alaska Air Carriers Association for the 2012 Forrest Jones Memorial Scholarships.
In lieu of holiday cards and gifts to members, the Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA) donated $1,000 to the Northrop Rice Foundation (NRF) for an aviation maintenance scholarship. The award will go to a student attending an (FAA certificated Part 147 Aviation Technician School, with the winner selected by NRF’s Board of Directors.
