Piper Aircraft named aircraft customer support executive Wes Norris as Director of Aftermarket Business. Norris joins Piper after a 31-year career at Hawker Beechcraft Corp. and leads Piper’s aftermarket business development office in Vero Beach, Fla., working with customers and dealers throughout the world.
FlightSafety International has promoted Danny Robayo to assistant manager of its Learning Center in Teterboro, New Jersey.
Mark Paolucci, senior vice president of sales, will retire at the end of the year after 32 years with Cessna.
Careers in Aviation has entered a formal partnership with the Florida Aviation Trades Association (FATA), designed to bring awareness to the aviation industry’s workforce crisis, according to officials.
“Our industry must look toward the future. Even more during these global economic times, we must all focus toward the next generation of our industry’s workforce,” said Paula Raeburn, FATA executive director. “Our partnership with Careers in Aviation sends a significant message to our industry partners. We should all be asking ourselves, ‘How can we make a difference?’”
