BEDFORD, Mass — Executive Flyers Aviation at Laurence G. Hanscom Field (BED) recently hosted the inaugural meeting of a new chapter of the international IMC Club.
IMC Club International will open additional chapters across the nation in the next few weeks. Pilots will gather at CP Aviation in Santa Paula, Calif., on Aug. 25; RedBird Skyport in San Marcos, Texas, on Sept. 13; and MotionAir Aviation on Sept. 14 in Midlothian, Texas, for inaugural meetings. Also, new chapters are planned for North Carolina, Nevada, Michigan, Alabama, and Nebraska.
IMC Club International has named Tim Busch of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as Regional Vice President of its Central Region.
The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) is teaming up with the IMC Club to host three instrument flying proficiency seminars at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, held July 23-29.

Pilots will gather at Iowa Flight Training in Cedar Rapids on March 6; North Ramp Aviation in South Burlington, Vt., on March 8, and MotionAir Aviation in Midlothian, Texas for the official inaugural meeting of the new IMC Club chapters.
In addition to its “Plane Talk” on IMC Radio, IMC Club has opened another broadcast channel: IMC Radio 5. IMC Radio 5, designed as a weekly platform for leaders in general aviation, began its first weekly episode on Feb. 7 with Jason Blair, executive director of the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI).
IMC Club International, Inc. has named Steve Cunningham of Nashua, N.H., Jim Hendricks of Naples, Fla., and Michael Radomsky of Las Vegas as regional vice presidents of its Northeastern, Southern and Western Regions.
