West Star Aviation’s latest expansion, a new 47,000-square-foot maintenance facility at its East Alton, Ill., (ALN) location, is now open. A ceremonial ribbon cutting and open house was held May 13, to celebrate the completion of the new facility and commemorate the milestone expansion.

The two STCs are for the Citation 550 Bravo Series and for the Citation V 560 Series (S/N 0001 thru 0259), and cover the installation of Universal Avionics UNS-1Lw FMS system with an LPV Monitor.

West Star Aviation, Inc. has named Vel Kovacevich to its interior modification sales team.
He previously worked in contracts at West Star Aviation where he produced interior proposals for all of the company’s facilities. Kovacevich will continue these duties along with his new sales role.
