Wipaire has released a new exhaust deflector for Cessna’s Caravan series of turboprop aircraft.
Wipaire will hold a grand opening celebration Feb. 28 at the company’s service center in Leesburg, Florida. The event will feature a variety of activities for pilots. Based at the Leesburg International Airport (KLEE) since February 2013, Wipaire’s service center has expanded into a new, larger hangar.
OSHKOSH — Wipaire reports it has completed installation of Wipline 3450 amphibious floats on a Mahindra Airvan 8 and has begun conducting preliminary flights to test the feasibility of the aircraft on floats. Pending successful outcome of the feasibility tests, a certification program will launch later this year.
OSHKOSH – Wipaire has won approval for performance- and utility-enhancing modifications for the Cessna 182 Skylane. These modifications include the Lycoming IO-580 engine conversion and a gross weight increase to 3,500 pounds when on Wipline 3000 floats.

SOUTH SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Wipaire has been granted European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval for Wipline 3450 floats on Cessna 206H, T206H, U206G, and TU206G. The approval is compatible with the Soloy engine conversion for all of the models, officials noted.
