Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist in establishing policies, procedures and controls to produce and maintain aircraft in an airworthy, dependable, and clean conditionReview and provide guidance of aircraft maintenance activities including overhaul, modifications, maintenance and repair of aircraft structure, engines and accessories safely, on time, and within cost.Reviews the maintenance status, to include weight and balance currency and schedules all routine inspections and reweighing in advance to ensure compliance with 14 CFR 135.185.Assist the DOM with responsibility of coordinating with the Inspection Unit on matters related to aircraft scheduling and inspections and reliability activities.Ensure an adequate level of expendable and rotable parts at the main maintenance base and selected outstations.Assist with the maintenance procedures in the company MEL program.Work alongside the DOM to conduct oversight of the Maintenance Department's operations and practices to assure compliance with the requirements of the Company GMM and 14 CFR's.Responsible for any additional maintenance requirements as listed in the Company Operations Specifications.Assist with any FAA reportable documentation.Other duties as assigned.
