Tecnam to partner with Mechtronix on sim

Tecnam has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mechtronix for the development of a Tecnam P2006T Twin Procedure Trainer (FNPT II).

The MOU Tecnam and Mechtronix establishes a framework for the development and the commercialization of a Tecnam P2006T FNPT II as well as a P2006T conversion kit for existing simulators, according to company officials. The new training platform will be marketed under the name P2006T Ascent Flight Trainer and will comprise a Garmin 1000 avionic suite and all instrumentation necessary for IFR training.
