Hamilton debuts new pilot watch

By Janice Wood · December 14, 2011 ·

Hamilton has introduced its latest pilot watch, the Khaki Flight Timer.

Designed in cooperation with Air Zermatt, Switzerland’s helicopter rescue and transport service, the new “cockpit for the wrist” was officially launched in Zermatt, Switzerland Dec. 8-9. The watch incorporates a dedicated pilots’ logbook that records details of up to 20 flights, and for each flight, 99 landings.

Hamilton was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The brand, which boasts a strong aviation heritage, is a member of the Swatch Group, the largest watch manufacturer and distributor in the world with 160 production sites in Switzerland
