Gulf Coast, Pacific Coast Avionics launch new website

By Janice Wood · February 20, 2012 ·

Gulf Coast Avionics Corporation and Pacific Coast Avionics Corporation have launched revised and updated versions of their eCommerce websites, which can be found at GCA.aero and PCA.aero.

The revised sites incorporate a number of new features including:

  • Social Media Log-in – a feature that allows customers to get plugged in via instant access to the GCA/PCA social communities including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Hangar Chat and Google Plus;
  • Google, Amazon, and Bill-Me-Later Payment Options – a variety of payment alternatives to fit the purchasing needs of any customer and make the check-out process hassle-free;
  • “Wish List” – a feature that lets customers keep track of desired but un-purchased items;
  • Lowest Price Guarantee – if customers find a lower price from any other authorized US dealer on the same item, they simply fill out a short form which includes their contact information, the competitor verification information, and product details – Gulf Coast and/or Pacific Coast will beat the competing price.

In addition, the sites are available in a number of foreign language translations to accommodate the fast growing component of international business, company officials said. The sites also incorporate a number of social media related features such as Google+1 and a YouTube presence.

“The web-based component of our businesses continues to grow exponentially both domestically and internationally,” said GCA’s Rick Garcia. “This iteration of our web sites is a big step forward in worldwide access to true eCommerce sales and marketing capabilities. The sites will make it easier for all of our customers to search our inventory, review their account status, and make their purchasing decisions in an informed, safe, and secure manner.”

Gulf Coast Avionics and Pacific Coast Avionics are suppliers of avionics, instruments, and pilot supplies to customers around the world. In addition to the Gulf Coast Avionics home office in Lakeland, Florida, and the Pacific Coast Avionics home office in Aurora, Oregon, the company also supports numerous international satellite locations.
