CXO slates open house

By Janice Wood · April 24, 2012 ·

The Lone Star Executive Airport (CXO) in Conroe, Texas, will hold a public open house on Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Displays will include homebuilt and experimental aircraft, a U.S. Army Apache helicopter, World War II vintage aircraft, and more. Local pilots will be on hand with their aircraft to talk about aviation and flying.

Other displays will include the local fire department, air medical, and some classic cars.

The event is also being held in conjunction with the EAA’s Young Eagles Program, where youth ages 8-17 can sign up for a free flight with an EAA member. Admission is free.
