GRT Avionics forum debuts

By General Aviation News Staff · March 11, 2013 ·

WYOMING, Mich. — GRT Avionics has created a new Internet forum dedicated to GRT electronic flight instrumentation products. The new forum is part of a redesigned website, company officials noted.

“We feel that a user forum is a crucial tool for connecting to our customers, whether it’s providing a 24-hour interactive source for tech support or simply learning what new features they want us to work on next,” said Katie Bosman, GRT marketing director. “It’s going to take some time and effort to build up the information base, but with thousands of pilots actively flying and installing GRT systems, I am confident that it will soon catch on and become a very useful tool for everyone involved with our product line.”

The new forum can be accessed through the Community page of the new website or directly at GRTAvionics.com.

GRT Avionics and its partner company, Grand Rapids Technologies, have designed and manufactured electronic flight instrumentation systems for experimental and light sport aircraft for more than 20 years.

I am thinking about relocating the magnetometers from the wing tips of my RV-7A to the tail of the aircraft (under the vertical stabilizer). Does any one have experience with this location on a rv 7 or similar Vans aircraft?
