FlightSafety promotes Hausmann to manager of LaGuardia center

FlightSafety International has promoted Glenn Hausmann to manager of the company’s Learning Center at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. He succeeds Ralph Lintelman who has been named manager of the center in Wilmington, Delaware.

FlightSafety Glenn Hausmann Manager LaGuardia Learning CenterGlenn joined FlightSafety at the LaGuardia Center in 1999 as an instructor in the Aircraft Dispatcher training program. He served as a simulator and ground instructor and then Program Manager for Beechcraft 1900 training. Glenn was promoted to Assistant Director of Standards in 2012, and most recently served as Director of Standards and Manager of the Center’s Safety Management System.

He was a First Officer at Chautauqua Airlines and Air Midwest Airlines, a flight instructor at American Flyers, and a Dispatch-Planning Manager at Tower Airlines, prior to joining FlightSafety.

Glenn has more than 3,500 hours of flight experience, holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, and is a certified ground instructor and aircraft dispatcher.  He graduated from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics.

The LaGuardia Learning Center offers pilot training for the Beechcraft 1900C, Beechcraft 1900D, King Air 200, and Shorts 360 aircraft. The center also provides FAA approved Aircraft Dispatcher Certification training.
