Just in time for EAA Airventure Oshkosh, Van’s Aircraft and Dynon Avionics have introduced the dual-screen Dynon Skyview Touch option for the factory-built RV-12, available Sept. 1.
The dual-screen option provides a larger view of mapping, the ability to share information across screens, and redundancy in the rare event that one of the screens fail, company officials said. It also gives better access to flight information for passengers and co-pilots, and improves the airplane as a platform for flight training, officials add.
The additional screen option is $4,545. The base price of an RV-12 S-LSA remains $115,000, the fully equipped model with all available options, including dual screens, is now $128,845.
