After an enthusiastic reception at SUN ‘n FUN, Scheme Designers is bringing its Scavenger Hunt to EAA AirVenture 2014.
If you are attending the big show next week, stop by Scheme Designers booth #3056 in Hangar C for a chance to win a custom model airplane made by Factory Direct Models.
Players will be hunting for aircraft sporting Scheme Designers livery and a sticker somewhere on select aircraft indicating that the aircraft is part of the game. Whoever finds the most Scheme Designers schemes (with Scheme Designer stickers) wins.
Clues will be posted to the Scheme Designers Facebook page throughout the show. Unique clues will also be provided each day on EAA Radio. To narrow the field in this year’s Scavenger Hunt, the competition will be limited to aircraft within the manufacturer’s display area.
Players can pick up a scavenger hunt form at the Scheme Designers Booth #3056 in Hangar C when they arrive, and should jot down the make, model and registration number for each display aircraft on which they find the Scheme Designers sticker. Completed forms must be returned to the Scheme Designers booth by 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2.
Prizes will be awarded for entries correctly identifying the highest number of display aircraft bearing the Scheme Designers sticker. The grand prize is a custom, premium desktop model, made by Factory Direct Models, worth over $500, according to company officials.
In the event of a tie, or if multiple entries correctly identify ALL of the displayed aircraft bearing a Scheme Designers sticker, all of the subject entries will be entered for a random drawing for award all of the prizes.
One entry per person only. Entrants must be 18 years or older, or accompanied by an adult who will be the point of contact in the event of a winning entry.
