Bush Flying DVD released

By General Aviation News Staff · August 16, 2014 ·

Supersonic Productions has unveiled the first in its Excellent Aviator series of shows on DVD, “Bush Flying.”

SP_website_mainpic_1200x500_05The original footage was filmed in Alaska, and features renowned bush pilots Bob and Bobby Breeden, Vern Kingsford, and others, who share what it’s like to make a living flying among the boulders and mountains, sandbars and fjords that typify so much of that rugged land.

Discussion and illustration of wind patterns help the pilot see what to expect ahead, where the other side of the mountain may be experiencing a totally different weather pattern from the one he’s flying in, on this side, producers noted.

Pete Zaccagnino, a winner at the Reno Air Races, executive pilot, aeronautical engineer, and president of Supersonic Productions, is releasing Bush Flying as the first in a series of pilot-oriented shows that will be released in the next year.

The DVD is available now at $49.95.

The trailer looks good. I plan to order by the end of the month. Would love to see some reviews on this instructional tool. The review would make for an excellent article in GANews.

With all the various DVD’s now available on the many aspects of aviation, perhaps a regular column or feature in GANews could provide reviews on these DVD’s.
