Avfuel expands FBO network

By General Aviation News Staff · August 22, 2014 ·

Avfuel continues to expand its branded FBO network with the addition of Apex Aviation at Vernal Regional Airport (VEL) in Utah and Wells Aircraft at Hutchinson Municipal Airport (HUT) in Kansas.

Both FBOs will have full access to Avfuel’s training and operational systems (including fuel safety and customer service training, transaction processing systems, marketing programs and more) and will offer Avfuel Contract Fuel and AVTRIP loyalty rewards.

Apex Aviation recently announced the completion of its new FBO facility and offers a variety of services and amenities, including 24-7 service, snooze rooms, showers and sleep rooms, a crew car and much more. Pilots and passengers can enjoy free WiFi and a full-size golf simulator.

To celebrate joining the Avfuel Network, Apex Aviation is offering double AVTRIP points on qualifying purchases through Oct. 31, 2014.

Wells Aircraft’s location in the middle of the country makes it ideal for tech stops, according to Avfuel officials.

Along with a complete array of fuel and line services, Wells Aircraft offers aircraft washing and detailing as well as overnight or long-term hangar storage. Additional capabilities include rental cars, courtesy vehicles, catering, and more. Wells Aircraft is a Cirrus Certified Repair and Training Center.
