FAA certifies Primus Epic system on G450

By General Aviation News Staff · December 24, 2004 ·

PHOENIX — Honeywell’s Primus Epic integrated avionics system has received FAA approval for Gulfstream’s G450 long-range business jet.

The G450 certification is the eighth regulatory approval for Primus Epic and the third on an aircraft from Gulfstream.

The system has four 10- by 13-inch liquid crystal displays in a point-and-click environment. The displays can show moving navigation maps, weather, terrain, traffic, and real-time video along with standard flight displays and aircraft operational information.
