New door seal for your Cherokee unveiled

By General Aviation News Staff · February 11, 2005 ·

A door seal that keeps water, cold, wind and noise out of your Cherokee, with versions soon to follow for Cessna, Mooney and Beech aircraft, has been unveiled by Aero-PMA-Parts Co.

The seals are made from a material that has “micro-memory fibers” to allow a perfect fit. The Aero-PMA-Parts arrangement is larger than the Piper original, completely “hugging” the door to leave no gaps.

The seal is installed on the door itself, in the door channel, as Piper intended. “There is no tearing and falling off as pilot/passengers enter and exit, as with other door seals,” company officials state.

Introductory price is $129.95. Regular retail price will be $149.95.
