Just say no to NRA’s tactics

I agree that general aviation needs to be organized and educate Congress and the public about aviation.

But I do not agree that AOPA should be like the NRA. The NRA’s tactics caused the elder President Bush to resign from its membership in protest. And they continue to threaten political candidates with their influence. I’m a pilot and an AOPA member, and I’ll continue to be a pilot. But if the AOPA becomes like the NRA, I won’t continue to be an AOPA member.
