Protective sleeving solution introduced

By General Aviation News Staff · February 25, 2005 ·

Federal Mogul Systems Protection Group has introduced Roundit 2000NX HT, a new self-wrapping sleeving product. Manufactured from Peek monofilaments and Nomex multifilaments, Roundit 2000NX HT withstands temperatures from -60º to +260ºC.

Its flexible and immediate access to wires makes it well suited for the protection of wire harnesses placed near engines, wings, rear stabilizers or auxiliary power units, said Dawn Ross, products manager, systems protection group, Federal-Mogul.

Available in five sizes and designed with a self-wrapping feature for quick and easy installation, inspection, and maintenance of all wire and cable configurations, Roundit also features cut-through protection and abrasion resistance, an oil and water repellant treatment to prevent condensation build-up, and sleeve tracers to differentiate the product and indicate maximum operating diameter.
