By General Aviation News Staff · March 11, 2005 ·

Telex Communications, which has manufactured headsets for more than 50 years, has signed on as primary sponsor for the 2005 Aviation Safety Seminars to be held this March in the Chicago and Minneapolis areas.

Main speaker will be Rich Stowell, a Master CFI who specializes in spin, emergency manuever, aerobatic and tailwheel training.

The seminars are accredited FAA Wings programs.

Two lectures, as well as coffee and bagels, are free to the public. The half-day event also includes 15 to 25 aviation-related booths and more than $3,000 in door prizes. The Chicago event is set for March 19 at the Hilton Garden Inn in St. Charles, Ill. The Minneapolis seminar is March 26 at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel in Bloomington, Minn.
