Safe Flight introduces landing light status annuciator

By General Aviation News Staff · March 25, 2005 ·

Safe Flight Instrument Corp. has introduced a landing light status annunciator.

Designed for the Bell 206 series of Jet Rangers, the annunciator can be installed in most helicopters.

“Typically, pilots have no indication if their landing light is working during daytime operations” said Safe Flight’s Tom Grunbeck. “Our Landing Light Status Annunciator informs pilots of the helicopter’s landing light status, whether the light is on or off.”

If the landing light is not working, an amber annunciator will display LDG LT FAIL even if the light is turned off. A green annunciator displays LDG LT ON when the switch is on and the light illuminated.
