Make your living room first class with armchairs from MotoArt

By General Aviation News Staff · May 6, 2005 ·

If you have always wanted to ride in first class, but couldn’t justify the expense for a few hours of luxury, MotoArt has the furniture for you.

MotoArt, a California-based company that takes derelict aircraft parts and transforms them into home and office décor, has received a new selection of first class chairs from Lockheed L-1011s. These are crafted into armchairs for the aviation enthusiast. The seats come with extended leg rests and built in food trays.

Prices start at $1,500 per set for leather, $800 for cloth.
