New power converter available

By General Aviation News Staff · May 20, 2005 ·

QC Avionix has just debuted a 24-volt to 12-volt power converter for aircraft cockpits.

The QCAvionix Power Converter converts 22-30 volts D.C. power from an aircraft accessory plug to 13.5 volts D.C. for powering 12-14 volt devices.

The electronic switching regulator dissipates minimal power while continuously delivering up to 10 amps at 13.5 volts.

The converter includes vibration resistant “tie downs” to hold the plugs in place.

Price: $219.95.
