All Weather, Inc. releases independent ATC display system

By General Aviation News Staff · June 3, 2005 ·

All Weather, Inc. has released ACE-IDS 2.0, the next generation of air traffic control display systems. ACE-IDS 2.0 combines the reliability of the certified ACE-IDS hardware platform with the power of StormFront, a new real-time data collection and display software engine.

Designed to meet the needs of both air traffic controllers and operations technicians, the software allows airports and radar approach control facilities around the world to design and build display pages to suit the needs of each operational position. The system is platform independent, compatible with a variety of operating systems including Windows, Solaris, UNIX, and Linux. Prices for a complete workstation, including hardware and software, start at under $10,000.
