1941 Historical Aircraft Group hosts 26th annual air show

By General Aviation News Staff · June 17, 2005 ·

The 1941 Historical Aircraft Group Museum at Geneseo Airport in New York presents its 26th consecutive air show July 8-10.

The show has grown from a chance stopover show of the Canadian Warplane Heritage and a handful of spectators in 1980 to more than 100 warbirds, antique, classic and experimental aircraft and 15,000 attendees in 2004. This year the show commemorates the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Britain with Spitfires, Hurricanes, a Messerschmitt Bf 109 and reenactors in uniform.
