Skytech, Inc. has delivered its 250th Piper PA-46 aircraft. The aircraft was delivered in early June to Michael Bell, a real estate and insurance executive from Rockville, Md.
The PA-46 designation applies to the Piper Malibu, which previously used a Continental engine, the Mirage (Malibu with a Lycoming engine) and the Pratt & Whitney turboprop Meridian, which all operate under the same airframe type certificate.
Skytech has been the leader in the sales of new and used PA-46 aircraft from 1988 through 1997 and led the world in sales of new and used Meridian sales for 2003 and 2004.
Founded in 1976, Skytech is the nation’s only aircraft dealer contracted to represent three major manufacturers — Cessna, Piper and Pilatus —and operates authorized service centers at Martin State Airport (MTN) in Baltimore, and Rock Hill-York County Airport (UZA) in Rock Hill, S.C.
