Deice/anti-icing seminars offered

By General Aviation News Staff · August 5, 2005 ·

There is no such thing as a little ice, say officials at the National Air Transportation Association, pointing out that de-icing season is right around the corner.

To be sure that line techs, ground personnel, flight crews and dispatch personnel can comply with FAA and Transport Canada requirements, NATA is offering a series of de-icing seminars throughout September, featuring the latest and safest deicing procedures available.  Seminar dates are Sept. 7, at the Marriott Hotel, Hartford/Windsor Airport, Windsor, Conn.; Sept. 14 at the Dayton Airport Hotel in Vandalia, Ohio; Sept. 21 at the Doubletree Hotel in Denver; and Sept. 28 at the Four Points Sheraton, Milwaukee Airport, Milwaukee.

All classes are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and include lunch and a manual. Seminar fee is $425.
