By General Aviation News Staff · September 23, 2005 ·

LightSpeed Aviation has released its newest headset: Mach 1.

The Mach 1 is In-The-Ear communication technology combined with up to 40dB of passive hearing protection.

Packaged in a silver metallic case, the magnesium alloy headset with a gooseneck boom and noise canceling electret mic weighs in at under one ounce. Specially designed ear plugs block noise, while miniature high-fidelity speakers inside the plug deliver voice and stereo music. A multipack of disposable ear tips, which include a patented foam design, ensures optimal fit and comfort.

The control box secures with a belt clip and provides cell/satellite phone and music interface.

Price: $525.
