SJ30-2 receives TIA

By General Aviation News Staff · September 23, 2005 ·

The SJ30-2, a new light business jet from Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corp. (SSAC), received its Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) from the FAA last month. Receiving the TIA virtually guarantees certification this year for the new jet, according to SSAC officials. The high performance, long range, twinjet aircraft will operate at altitudes up to 49,000 feet and will be certified for single pilot operations. Price of the jet is $5.495 million.
