SolarSkies debuts solar-powered ventilator

By General Aviation News Staff · October 7, 2005 ·

The new Solar-Powered ventilator (SPV) exhausts hot air from parked aircraft.

The SPV lowers cabin temperature by reducing heat buildup inside the airplane while introducing fresh, cooler air from the aircraft’s intake vents.

The SPV fits easily in the pilot window, forming a weather-tight seal that is as secure as a closed pilot window.

The unit is powered by a lightweight, rollable solar panel that can power other accessories, such as a cell phone, GPS, computer and more.

For more information: 877-SOLAR-57.
