Garmin XM satellite receivers now available for Mooney GX models

By General Aviation News Staff · November 18, 2005 ·

An STC has been issued for installation of Garmin’s GDL-69A remote sensors in Mooney Bravo and Ovation2 GX models. Installation kits are available on a “first come, first served” basis for GX owners who ordered the XM Satellite Radio option as part of their G1000 avionics suites. The receivers allow aircraft owners to access up to 130 channels of digital music, news, talk, sports and weather information while in flight.
