Jeppview Flitedeck version 3.2 makes it easier to acccess and manage digital charts

By General Aviation News Staff · December 2, 2005 ·

With the release of JeppView Version 3.0 in 2004, Jeppesen began offering customers a reengineered version of its electronic Airway Manual service that was first launched in 1996. JeppView 3.0 offers customers a complete digital chart solution for both ground and in-flight use that includes an airborne moving map component known as JeppView FliteDeck.

The latest release of JeppView FliteDeck, version 3.2, allows pilots to more easily manipulate Jeppesen chart views thanks to new panning/scrolling, zoom and view restore functionality. Also included is a new icon-based user interface for terminal charts, and a clipboard feature that allows users to tag specific terminal charts and easily access them in any order desired. A new “Chart Only” button lets pilots collapse bordering information so the computer screen is maximized for enroute and terminal chart viewing.
