Just thought you should know that for quite a few years now I have enjoyed your magazine. I am currently a 767 captain for a major airline (luckily one enjoying high profits) and was quite upset to read the article “The eye of the camera” by Joel Elman in the November issue.
Your advertisers are people and businesses that rely on customers such as myself, who is the owner of several smaller aircraft. I can’t imagine any of the 85,000 airline pilots in this country could have possibly found this article enjoyable. Many, many airline pilots read your magazine and do business with your advertisers.
In the future, with all due respect to you and the magazine’s advertisers, if you don’t have something useful and beneficial to print, then why print it? Your airline pilot subscription base enjoys your magazine. Shouldn’t you keep it that way?
