Garmin GDL-69A now available for DA40

By General Aviation News Staff · December 16, 2005 ·

Now pilots of Diamond Star DA40-180s can get real time weather enroute thanks to the Garmin GDL-69A. The unit receives XMTM satellite signals to deliver weather information to the G1000 high-resolution displays. Pilots can now access METARS, TAFs, TFRs, winds aloft, echo tops, surface precipitation type, lightning, AIRMETs, SIGMETS and more. The receiver also provides for more than 130 channels of music, news, talk, sports and information radio, so passengers can be entertained on long flights.
