Peterson begins installing high-lift canards on C182s

By General Aviation News Staff · January 6, 2006 ·

Peterson’s Performance Plus, Inc. will begin installing its high-lift canard on 1970-1980 Cessna 182s using engines other than the TCM O-470 and IO-470.

All aircraft equipped with either stock or modified TCM O-470, IO-520, and IO-550 engines are now eligible. Peterson holds both U.S. and Canadian certification for this conversion.

Performance improvements include a reduced stall speed, shorter takeoffs and landings, safe, flat attitudes during slow flight, improved stall resistance, greater maneuverability, enhanced off-field operation and additional pitch control.
