The Air Group has unveiled plans for a new hangar complex at Teterboro Airport to serve private jet owners and charter customers.
The new facility will comprise two 30,000-square-foot hangars and a 12,000-square-foot combination private terminal and administrative facility for the firm’s East Coast headquarters and flight operations.
The Air Group initially plans to use the facility as a private transit terminal for its nationwide management fleet, plus as a base for expanding its East Coast management business. Air Group also plans to extend its FAR 145 maintenance capabilities to Teterboro through this new facility.
The new $15 million dollar facility is being built by Signature Flight Support and is slated to open in the fall of 2006.
