First G1000-equipped Elite ATD delivered

ELITE Simulation Solutions recently delivered its first Garmin G1000-equipped iGATE Advanced Aviation Training Device (A-ATD) to Angel City Flyers Inc. in Long Beach, Calif.

The device is outfitted with the actual G1000 hardware utilizing the now familiar 10.4″ GDU 1040 PFD/MFD displays offered as standard equipment from several airframe manufacturers. Desktop and cockpit versions of the iGATE A-ATDs are available, as are several specific aircraft configurations including a Diamond DA40/42 developed in cooperation with Diamond Aircraft Industries.
