Online recordkeeping service released

By General Aviation News Staff · February 17, 2006 ·

With all the advances in aviation, one factor associated with ownership — recordkeeping — has remained antiquated. Until now, maintenance records, squawk lists and pilot logbooks were all paper-based. Now, owners can do everything online with AircraftLogs.com.

Targeted toward time-stretched professionals, business owners, aircraft managers, maintenance providers and FBOs, AircraftLogs manages nearly everything associated with owning and operating an aircraft in a paperless manner.

Maintenance, flight and financial records are all in one secure location and conform to regulatory requirements. It’s versatile enough that operators of complex singles, piston twins, and turbine aircraft are using it.

Highlights of the online service include maintenance records and automatic timers, pilot flight records and currency warnings, integrated tax and expense records, squawk management, integrated with maintenance providers and much more.

Cost of an annual subscription runs between $400 and $800 depending upon the aircraft. Pilots can subscribe online and immediately begin loading their information. For an optional fee, AircraftLogs also can load the information for the owner/operator. For pilots who don’t own a plane, pilot accounts are available for about $10 per month, and aircraft can always be added later.
