First time buyer? Columbia Aircraft has a new program for you: Columbia IPO, which stands for Initial Purchase Option. The play on words is deliberate, as Columbia officials say buying a new airplane is an investment. “All too often, first-time buyers purchase an aircraft similar to their trainer so they feel comfortable – six months later they discover that they’ve outgrown the performance,” says Randy S. Bolinger, vp of sales.
The program offers complete training in either the Avidyne Entegra or the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit. The company also will reimburse flight training expenses, up to $7,500, for eligible buyers.
