New book aimed at CFIs

By General Aviation News Staff · March 24, 2006 ·

A new book, “The Flight Instructor’s Guide to Endorsements and CFI Record Book,” was written by an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner and Master CFI. It contains all endorsements, in order of use, a CFI would have to make. There are also notes and guidance, so nothing is forgotten or overlooked.

There is a section to record endorsements made in compliance with the CFI Records Rule, which also serves to document students’ achievements when renewing the CFI certificate on basis of activity or applying for the Gold Seal certificate. There also is a section for BFRs and IPCs, which reminds CFIs to contact past clients and also a section to record TSA training.

Price: $20, plus $2.95 shipping.
