AvMap upgrades its portable GPS

By General Aviation News Staff · May 5, 2006 ·

The EKP-IV portable GPS moving map system from AvMap/Navigation has been upgraded with new enhancements, including Terrain Awareness, Low Airways (Victor Airways), Private Airports and User Customizable Check Lists.

The EKP-IV’s 7-inch diagonal display, lightweight design (only 1.2 lbs.) and flexible kneeboard, yoke, rail, or panel mount options allow the unit to adapt to any pilot’s needs.

Suggested list price is $1,495. Software upgrades are also available for current owners of the EKP-IV.
