New online security course debuts

By General Aviation News Staff · May 19, 2006 ·

Aerostudies Inc. has released a new online self-study course, “Security Guidelines for General Aviation Airports…What the TSA Requires You To Know.”

The course helps understand the Transportation Security Administration’s security guidelines that apply to operations at more than 2,700 GA airports in the U.S.

It provides a list of ideas, options and suggestions for security enhancements to GA airports. Included are easy-to-use tools to assess each airport’s security requirements and determine which security enhancements may apply.

The course takes about an hour to complete, including a 20 question exam.

Price: $49.95 each, or $34.95 each for three or more courses.
