Cross the Atlantic with Air Journey

By General Aviation News Staff · June 9, 2006 ·

For many adventurous pilots, a North Atlantic crossing is a life-time dream. Air Journey brings its experience to help pilots realize this dream.

The company is planning a North Atlantic crossing that will take you through six time zones and six different countries. The trip, slated for July 9-25, includes a stop at the Farnborough International Air Show.

Cost is $8,450 per person (based on double occupancy), which includes a tour leader who will facilitate clearances, immigration, refueling, flight planning and provide help with any difficulty that might arise, lodging, meals, tours and admission charges, tips, a briefing before every flight and a trip kit for each aircraft, which includes an extensive navigation log (airports, route, frequencies, airspace information, nav-aids, reporting points, international flight plan), VFR charts, IFR low or high en route (based on aircraft type and pilot’s preferences), bag and souvenir shirt. There also is a plane registration fee of $1,650.
