Flying to the Islands

By General Aviation News Staff · June 9, 2006 ·

Flying to the Bahamas or the Caribbean islands can be an exceptional experience, especially when you know what to expect. James Parker, president and chief pilot of Caribbean Flying Adventures, is the creator of CaribbeanFlying Adventures.com, a subscription-based website that is continuously updated. He also has released a Caribbean Flying DVD.

Parker’s guide to the Caribbean on DVD includes front seat approaches to 16 different Caribbean airports, a list of the documentation required for flying in and around the islands of the Caribbean, and a complete pre-departure checklist.

The website offers a host of information, as well as a members only section that provides access to all required documents (with completed examples), current airport fees, entry-exit procedures, charts, flight plans, up-to-date fuel prices, photos, approach videos and more.
